I have a Nano and I <333 it. It's small, compact, unbreakable, and just the right amount for me. Videos are waaaaaay to big, to much money, and overall kinda of suck from what my friends said. They say it's reaaaaaly hard to get pirated movies and stuff onto them.
The regular on is just too big. So, yes, I would go with the mini.
Getting pirated movies on the iPod Video**** is not hard at all.
They are very easy to find at torrent websites or in P2P software.

I think the iPod video has pretty good quality video. It does need a bigger screen though.Haha video sucks. I'd rather something on a better quality and bigger screen for cheaper. Like a TV.
I've never heard of portable TVs/DVD players with a harddrive. There's alot of portable TVs with roughly 25GB HDD's for around £300.
Plus they have bigger screens, so they're worth watching.
I don't think you can buy a mini Ipod anymore unless it's online. The Apple store doesn't sell them anymore last time I check.
