Programming Team Changes:

The Senior Programmers have discussed the revamp of the programming ranks here at Neocodex, and this is what we have decided based on the various factors we have looked at:

• Laser Wave > Full Programmer
• Pete > Full Programmer
• Eggy > Jr. Programmer

Please note that this was a cumulative decision between the Senior Programmers and the Administrators and that the changes are final. In the future, we will be looking at possible Full Programmers, but for now, this is how the changes remain. If you have any negative comments, we don't want to see them in here.

You were not demoted because of your code. On Jan 27 2006 at 10:35 AM, a discussion was started in Senior Programmer contained the full discussion of the changes we needed to make to the programming team. I cannot give you the discussion details though, as that would be leaking stuff from a restricted area and would just be like leaking a staff discussion.

We said before that we were reforming the programming team. :blink:

We never formally announced Lazers and Pete's promotion. This just gives you something harder to work for

Booting you out would be a full demotion to member or a ban. We still want you in the picture, we just felt the slight shift in ranks was the best for now (like I said on PM).

Can we please keep this on PM now? I dislike having to explain stuff like this in two different areas...

On a side note:
While I dissagree with Eggy on pretty much everything he tends to say, I do have to agree that promoting him and demoting him twice (the thing in private and this) in such a short amount of time is pretty dissapointing. While I don't care about ranks on this site, I feel for you Eggy, I really do.

Congrats Pete and Laser I am very proud to welcome 2 awsomly talented programmers Sorry to hear about the demotion Eggy but like Icey said gives you something to work for and when you become a full programmer you will be much better

On a happier note congratulations Lazer Wave and Pete, you guys looked like pretty 1337 programmers. (along with Eggy I thought he was pretty good too, although I'm sure for whatever reason he was demoted, it can be disputed into good terms )
