Depends, what are you looking for?

Do you have bomb? Shield? Constant? Depends on what you're looking for.

Freezer?

I'd get G-Bomb if you have nothing, but there are good things for every category/

Edit: Just read topic title =P

But yeah, definitely an SOS or GSword

What's your current set? What is your pet species? Do you lab ray your battle pet? Do you train defense or just strength/hp?

I will rec you a set for 20mil, and suggest the next upgrades. =P

Ah, okay.

If your level is 30+, you want to make sure that you get the faerie abilities Burrow (Earth), Sink (Dark) and Drain Health (Dark). These you will use more than anything else.

Your set should look like this:

H4000 Helmet (6.3mil) GET FIRST - your most IMPORTANT piece, ever. =P No real upgrades until the rest of your set is complete and you got money to burn.

Downsize! (7.5k, keep these...even end-set battlers still use Downsize) ;)

Greater Healing Scroll (30k) - it's crap, I know, but the only real worthwhile upgrade from this is Jade Scorchstone or Leaded Elemental Vial, which come in at about 40 mil. =P You could buy Rainbow or Glittery Scorchstones, but they're extremely overpriced. It'd be better to save for LEV.

Sword Of Skardsen (10.7mil)

Honey Potion (800k)

Leaf Shield (20k?) - good shielder before you get into the big boys

Scuzzys Comb (500k)

You'll have one spot open. It would be best to just fill this with a muffin or leave it open for now.

To battle, use helmet + shield (or downsize) + sink or burrow to freeze opponent, next round beserk attack with Honey Potion + SoS. Otherwise, attack with your Comb + SoS, defend with shield + downsize + abilities. Faerie healing abilities can be useful, but it depends, really, on the battle.

You'll also want to pick up 50% reflectors, like Shovel Plus (earth), Super you-bend (water) (not you, stupid filters!), Turbo Flame Reflector (fire), Dual Battle Mirror (light), Double Dryer (air), Ultra Dark Reflectorb (dark). You will not keep these equipped, but only use them for special opponents. For example, if your opponent is using peas on you, you would want an earth reflector. :) Sword of Skardsken, use dark reflector. etc. =P

----------------------------

That is about 18.4 million spent.

Your first upgrade will be to ditch the Scuzzys Comb in favour of a Bow of Destiny (3.5 mil). Remember, whatever you ditch, you can always sell!

Your next upgrade MUST be to replace the Leaf Shield with a better shield.

Ring of the Lost, at 4.5 mil is a great upgrade. Honestly, it's almost as good as Ghostkershield for what you'll be using it for, so there's no real loss on your part. HOWEVER, do note that the price flucuates very wildly, because this is a new item, released with the Lost Desert plot. This item could go down to 3 mil by the time you buy it...or it could go up to 6. It's unpredictable at the moment.

The next upgrade after that is to add Ghostkerbomb to your set, at 7.3 mil. After freezing your opponent, you would use HP + Ghostkerbomb. This duo will last you quite some time. Now you have all your spots filled. :)

After Ghostkerbomb, your next upgrade should be to replace Bow of Destiny with a Pirate Captains Cutlass (15.6).

And then...the long haul. If your hit points never get over 200, then yes, get a Glittery or Rainbow Scorchstone. Good luck finding them, though. =P Otherwise, you will either need to change your pets species to Kacheek, Gelert or Elephante and get a species healer, or you will need to save up your money for a LEV or JSS. This takes precedence over anything else you could possibly want to add to your set, because healers are King in the BD.

If you ever get your healer, the next logical step is Ghostkersword. However, do not sell any of your former weapons at this point. There will be a time when you may need them. :) PCC + GS or SoS + GS can be used in different situations. There will be times when you will need that HP or your Downsize or shield, and you will ALWAYS need your healer and freezer.

If you want to replace Ring of the Lost with Ghostkershield, it will still be a step up. Make sure you train defense, though! Remember, both RotL & Ghostkershield are 100% dark blockers. You also may want to pick up Pirate Captains Hat, which can block 100% earth and light. Enchanted Kiko Squeeze Toy, 100% water. Other blockers, will just have to come along your way. =P

And lastly, get the Thyoras Tear. This is the last possible thing you should get for your set before you start moving to the attack pea family. Even if you restock it, I would sell it to buy better weapons. =P Remember, it is ONE use per battle, even if it is 100% block everything. It CAN change the tides of battle, but normally it's just useless. =P

They recently released a Hidden Tower freezer, which also adds attack, for 10 mil, thus it's brought up the price of h4k, but ultimately capped it's inflation. It was threatening to inflate over 10 mil in the next year or so.

I been playing Neopets for 5 years now; but I NEVER got into the whole Battle dome thing.

By 5 years I mean I probably played for 1 year, quit for 6 months, joined, quit, joined. But I have quit forever now. :p

Who needs to buy weapons when you can spread a little love around. (When I say love I mean np)

http://idb.finalhit....ie&specie=draik

Only thing worthy there is Silver Draik Bow. Other than that listen to Casilla.

Yeah.... I don't even have five million..

In my whole career of neopets I have never had over 2 mill. Although I probably spent that much on training my pets, or for every account that was frozen...
