Like you know how some people call their grandmother nana... or nan, or nanny, or grandmother even...

Everyone has different names for their grandparents, it would be interesting to see what people have for them... nicknames and such.

See, my grandmother being chinese... I use the chinese word for my mothers mother... which... I don't know how to spell.. it's like Popo or something... pronounced paw paw I think. And my uncles children would call her Gong gong I think... Ã§os it's their fathers mother.

And if I had ever met my fathers mother, I'd have called her Grandmother Jane

because that's how my dad refers to her when he talks about her to me

When I was younger I used to call then Nan and Pop :wub:

Now I just refer to them as Gran, Grannie, Grandma, or one some occasions Nan (Maybe on something like her birthday). I dont have anymore Grandfathers so I don't have any nicknames for them

Well mine are all dead and I never knew my grandfathers... so...

my dad's mother was called grandma and my mother's mother was called nana.

on my dad's side, we call them gram and poppa...

it's weird, I never actually knew their first names till like a few years ago. XD

(it's Beryl and Bevis. haha)

Fathers mother: Dadi

Mothers father: Nana
Mothers mother: Nani

Nin/Nina(Nan)
Pa(Grandpa)

My dads side:
Nanny(Nan.. unfortunetly died 2 months ago)

OMFG!! I'm chinese too!!

I call my grandma Popo and grandpa Gong gong, I never got meet him though =\ But thats what we call him. But thats from my dads side of the family.

My moms side I call them G-Pa and G-ma.
