Why do you guys all say stuff like I'm 100% Straight. Or straight all the way it seems sort of silly.

I get called gay. Because I have this weird tendancy to wear nice clothes and make sure I look good.

I call it hygeine, other guys call it "gay".

So what, you're mad because I don't like the act of homosexuality? I guess I should just say:

There is no act of homosexuality it's only an abstract concept. And it is sorta immature to go eww like that. Toodles.

In my opinion, no "belief" or "activism" groups should be formed around public school. Obviously, they do deserve utmost respect for their choice of lifestyle, and such should be taken to the education room. However, to bring it in a public school would be stupid, because theyre bound to offend several people who don't agree. For example, there was a high school somewhere in Texas or Colorado (I forget which.) The school, Coin high school (or something along those lines), was in the midst of year book development. The principal decided to add on a detachable "In god we trust" on the coin they put on the yearbook, to respect anyone who is an atheist or whatever. Sounds smart? Not according to a bunch of offended baptists who thought the detachable in god we trust offended God.

People are idiots, in short, and too idiotic in High school to deserve the right to have belief / activist groups.

Butttttt, Back on Topic.

Well... if they can have clubs PRO gay then they should be allowed to have anti-gay ones, no? Personally I don't see why you have to have any clubs like that anyways on school at all.

So you're saying that a club helping minorities gain rights and a club to hate people are the same thing? What are YOU smoking? blink.gif

There is a "soda" club at my school. It supports homosexuality....

Me and a few of my friends think is the stupidest idea ever, so we formed "TAG". Teen Against Gays.....

Frankly I don't see why minorities need more rights. In my eyes I see them as everyone else... I don't see why we NEED any ethnic or sexuality groups at all especially not in school. And besides if you are against an act does NOT mean that you are against the person. For example the biggest part of Christianities teachings (of which I may add a lot of people don't follow) is that you should hate the act that the person is commiting, but love the person. And so yes, as long as the club does nothing to descrminate or harm the other, it is fine. You do realize that the pro gay club could be just as intolerable as the anti gay club, right?

Anyways I stick to my point that both of those clubs need not exist at school. School is meant to be educational. At my school we had no such thing allowed, only educational clubs. The Christian club was deemed educational, actually tongue.gif Mostly because it taught people things about the religion and was not just about a hobby just like the athiest club was allowed as well since it taught about evolution.

Eh, I'm not going to say anything against anti-gay groups cause they do have the right to preach their beliefs.

Besides, most people either don't care or see homosexuals as equals. Anti-gay groups have been proven to be on the dying path.

If you beat the shit out of a black person and justified it because you're anti-african americans, that's classified as a hate crime. So yes, in those terms, it is considered hate in the US court system.

Who said that club would ever harm anyone? You are going too far! Just because someone's anti something that means they resort to violence?! Time to think of what YOU, Sir are smoking. And besides, I already said that I am against having either pro or against clubs like that in schools.

And again pro clubs can be just as discriminatory as anti clubs. You are not reading my words.

I think minorities have clubs in schools so other students can learn more about other cultures and people. At my school, we have clubs for like everyone.. (Latin club, Spanish club, French Club, European Club, African American Club, Gay Friendship club, Asian Pride, etc etc,) We actually have a time during the year called "MultiCultural Week" where all the clubs plan events and stuff that students attend during class time happy.gif. Includes food, dancing, performances, etc etc.. It's really quite fun happy.gif and educational. I think it teaches tolerance and understanding of different people. Also expels many preconceived stereotypes of people.

Anyway, no there shouldn't be a club that is anti any "race, ethincity, or sexual Orientation" in school. I haven't seen any Anti African American, or Anti Asian Pride clubs in schools so why should it be accepted to have a Anti Gay Club? One thing school should not be teaching is intolerance.

I also agree with this. I'm not part of the Gay Club, partially because I've only come out to my friends... And well... all of Neocodex... But still, I don't need a club to declare anything. I think it's mostly just a preference issue.

Actually, I probably would have a problem with an anti-gay club. It's the same as a anti-Christian or anti-Muslim club.

Plus there is no discrimination agst. race, age, color, blah blah, sexual orientation allowed in the workplace.

America is way too conservative. Esp. Texas. The rest of the developed world is moving on and we're still behind on s

I'm straight, and I laugh at most people who claim to be Bi.

Hate? Not really.

In talking to them, I find that they weren't too ..... successful with being popular, and, in trying to be accepted somewhere definitive, they turned "bi" (never gay/lesbian, ever) for the attention, even though on the inside, they never had such feelings.

I see this mostly in females. Bi guys are definetly 100% gay, but use Bi as a safety net until their self-esteem rises to the point where they no longer care about society. Most straight guys seem to prefer the loner route over teh Bi-claiming route, seeing as how it's a rather damaging aspect to attribute yourself to as a man. However, people see Bi females as universally hot, so there isn't any downside.

This is my personal experience dealing with people during my years of Junior High, High School, my first two years of college and my next door neighbors (Bi chix, 4 of them). Nothing is fact, just intelligently deduced conclusions.
