can someone please help me. I would like to be able to turn my computer into a webserver, i know there is a way to do it i just dont know how. please and thank you.

are you on dial up or dsl/cable? and is your ip dynamic(changes) or static(stays the same)?

Install Apache, Php and MySql then you're sorted

http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi

After they are installed you can put files in your chosen webroot folder and then access them using http://localhost/blah.txt

i already am using dial up but i am using my jobs computer, and the Network Engineer that i work with allready told me how to do it. so thanks.
