Today was the first day of band camp. Well, I was pretty exited cause my band director promised me last year that I was gonna be bass captain this year. Well, I walk in take my seat and he announces the section leaders. He turns to me and smiles and said that this years bass captain is the guy who plays the same instrument as me. And the stupid guy just said "huh?"... I couldn't believe that he would do that...

I couldn't believe it... I'm a better marcher than him. I practically taught him how to play his instrument and he said to my band director's face that he didn't want to be bass captain...

Discuss when things don't go your way but instead blow up in your face...

Trust me he already knows. I've shown him up in playoffs soooo many times it's not even funny. And I alway win the march offs...

My band director was awesome; but they don't do the marching thing around here... it's all orchestra, sit down and play....

but anywhoo, I was 1st trumpet, second chair, but I never ever wanted to play anything important or anything, I was terrified of messing up and having everyone know it was me. XD.... like with solos and shit, but my band director knew how good I really was, and I became one of the most important solo persons because I was the only one who could hit the high notes. D:

My first one was awesome. Won championship from the state and everything... But then he got married and moved away...

I am just messing around. Never been much into band. I can play guitar, and a little drums, but other than that the closest to my school band that I get to is the band that plays for ME while I'm out playing football.

I was in the heat index of 103 today in Kentucky for my first day of marching band also. It was quite sucky. Whatever, right after I went next door and played some tennis. It was pretty fun, ut my dad always has a psychological edge over me. He beats me at EVERYTHING. I know I am better then him I just lose. Oh yeah, I just thought that I might say I play suzaphone/baritone/tuba.

Sorry your band director is such an ass. Hope the guy who plays the same instrument stink so you can get the title. I have no musical talent so its safe to say I don't know much about band camps.
