Its one of the best movies I've ever seen though. Watch it again. It makes sense the second time around.

Yeah, I was confused the first time, too. After watching it twice, however, I considered it one of the best movies I've seen. smile.gif

What were you confused about. You should definately watch it a few more times. It's a really great movie once you know what's going on.

I thought it was a good movie. It's even better now that I know what was really going on. The only thing I don't understand is

[SPOILERS]

why did Tyler die when the narrator didn't? If they were the same person, shouldn't both of them or neither of them died? o_0

It wasn't so much him killing Tyler as his action proving to himself that Tyler wasn't an independent entity, and thus he was able to get rid of him.

Yep. Its the same as telling yourself your imaginary friend doesn't exist. Except his imaginary friend was an alter ego side of himself.

Oh, so it was more a symbolic thing than a physical thing. I get it. Anyway, it was a great movie. It's number 32 on IMDB's greatest movies of all time I think o_0

I still don't get how "jack" was able to stick a gun barrel in his mouth, pull the trigger and not die, much less still be able to stand up and talk afterwards.

Otherwise it was a great movie.

A great deal of the movie I did enjoy, than some parts (I understood the movie fine) just wouldn't do it for me. All the mini plots and turns of events were forced hard into that movie. It's almost better if you're confused at the end, or else you might've well been watching too hard 0.0

I really really...really enjoyed the movie. Brad and Edward were superrrb. So was Marla Singer's actress. Can't recall her name..Unfortunately, my old calc prof. killed it for me. "What's the first rule of Calculus AP?" "Don't talk about Calculus AP!" And so on and so forth. Other than that, loveeee it. Heard the book is a worthy read as well. smile.gif

I think he thought it would be more based around the actual Fight Club, and not have a plot like it did.

I just watched it and can't say I really understood it.
I wont watch it again for a while, its over 2 hours -_-
And there wasnt anything particularly interesting in that 2 hours.
So can someone explain to me what makes this movie so great?

SPOILER

I understand how Tyler came out while the guy slept, and how he was a separate personality.
What I didnt get was what was Tyler's goal?
