I had shabba's pricer running, and I think I had usershop buying also on, but it was on my home computer. I went on Neo at my Grandma's house to quickly put some items in my SDB. Then the other day, my grandma called and said she got an e-mail for breaking the TOS. She was really worried about it, so I wrote to several Neopets Staff to try to get them to send an apology letter or something. Told them exactly what happened, now I'm waiting for a response :\

You wrote to the staff to get an apology letter from them? Why would they send an apology letter? blink.gif

But if you're worrying about it, don't. Their threats aren't real - it's all a bluff.

Not an apology letter, but just something explaining what happened, and telling her not to worry about it.

EDIT: Quoted the wrong thing >_>

Whoa! How did they get her email ohmy.gif Did you mention Codex in your messages to TNT? Sorry to hear this. What I'm wondering is why did TNT send a message to your grandmother and not to someone at your home address? This is a strange incident.

Nope, didn't mention Codex or shabba or anything. Just said I was using a program to automate some tasks.

Shabba, mind posting what you're going to send them? I'm sure there's other people like me that would be very interested in this tongue.gif

Thats understandable. Adults seem to over-react to this kind of stuff. Hope she can understand.

Guys, his grandma is getting them because when TNT Legal does this, they go to an ISP to get info, the likely registered e-mail for this connection was his grandma's.

Oh that makes sense, but why didn't they send this to the person registered at his home address where most Neopet activity was being conducted? Bad luck?

Because when they detected the cheating going on, the progs were running @ his granny's.

Unfortunatly, she deleted the e-mail. I told her not to worry about it though, and she understands now. I'm still kind of annoyed though.

Was it actually from TNT? Like the real TNT e-mail address(even though they have multiple)? If it was from TNT, they really do need to lighten up.

Its a good thing she understands. Quick question... Were the accounts you were using frozen?
