I haven't seen the movie but i've read all the current books. Absolutely fantastic! Love 'em. Arc Angel really did leave you off at an intense bit, really makes you eager for the next in the series.

I didn't know there were books...
I thought it was just another shitty Kid-Spy film

It IS another shitty Kid-Spy film (according to reviews from friends, atleast), just it's also a superb series of books written by Anthony Horowitz.
I guess it sucked from the second I saw the PG (Parental Guidance) rating. Looking at the book and how much blood and intense action it had, I knew they would've portayed it shitty to make it suitable for little children.

I love these books. I've also read them all. I was kind of not updated, but before I went to the lake I bought Scorpia and Arc Angel, read them both in the same day, I felt like such a nerd. But Alex rider ftw =D

No biggie. The books are actually VERY gripping, and for the thick size they appear to be, they're actually quite a quick read.

Harry Potter is awesome. On my first try, I didn't like it either but I gave it a couple years and it was only then that I realized I had attempted to read from the second book (Chamber of Secrets). Ever since I was hooked on it.

YOU want ME to waste £5 of MY money so I can tell YOU if the movie is worth paying for?!! I refuse. *crosses arms* It's a load of crap.

i would be nice, but its your decision
when i first started the series i couldn't stop reading. i started a little late and read the first 3 books in one day. they are a very quick read and are very suspenseful especialy after scorpia, though i don't want to spoil anything
to me, it doesn't matter what other people think about alex rider, i love the series and hopefully the movie too

I was joking, lol. You'll get used to my sarcasm soon enough. The movie has been out for ages here in England, in fact I think they've stopped showing it at the cinemas so even if I did want to see it, it wouldn't be a choice.
