- Elfonso you suck at making debating topics, at least have the topic somewhat unopinuated.

big bang

Thanks for contributing thumbsup.gif

Anyway, I'm agnostic. I believe in a god, not Allah, not the god from the trinity, just. . . a higher power. The reason for this is because there is no explanation for where the original matter of the universe would've come from. I also believe in evolution, and for those who don't because the bible//koran says "god created everything" is it hard to believe that evolution was not part of god's overall big plan?

The problem with being agnostic, it's awkward if I ever want to pray. I'm praying to . . . just my own god, but I believe that's how it should be. We all have varying levels of spirituality. In fact, there was a gene that was discovered that is responsible for how strong we are spiritually. In my opinion, everyone should have a personal relationship with whatever god it is they chose to believe. Whatever spiritual being (sp?) that is. It's important to have one, as human beings we need one.

However, this is also the reason why I used to be atheist. Imagine a world without a god, chaos. We are the only animals capable of comprehending our own death. We are also the only animals with the god gene. Is it not possible we developed this god gene to install a "holy law" so we all feel that killing is wrong and horrible and we will suffer eternally if we do?

Oh well, I'm just rambling.
