I was just wondering why people get frozen so often, i have only been frozen twice in the past year, once for flash game highscores, was testing a program i made and wasnt fussed about being frozen and secondly due to zulfi, other than that i havnt been frozen, and i must say i cheat quite alot. how do most people get caught out so easily?

Outdated programs, laziness, greed and plain stupidity. Some people think that they can run 2 programs and browse neopets at the same time. Probally because they don't know anything about headers.

Main main reason I think (If you're not doing something that's obviously gonna get you froze):
Multiples.

Multiple accounts. Multiple programs. Multiple actions (browsing neopets with browser and running a program).

Outdated programs as well and the way a program works can be at fault too.

At least I got the second half right thumbsup.gif

I'm guessing people get frozen often is because they don't quite know how the programs work. Myself included.

O.O

I have been frozen once in my many years at neo. For a BS excuses too. Back when ever premium members first got the charter board, after the regular premium boards starting getting full of retarded lame people, Me and some other charter members where on the normal premium boards chatting about restocking and some guy popped in and told us that he just restocked like 7 extremely hard to get items. I basically called him a liar, as i would have seen at least 1 of the items. Then some how I got frozen for harassment of a player.

Bull shit excuses. I ended up getting my account back in a few hours, but still pissed me off. ended up selling that account years later and got frozen about two days after I sold it biggrin.gif

It's imminent I get banned then, I have 18 accounts and run 18 programs to those accounts every day. Wonder if I should send all my stuff to another account and play "legit". NAH!, a month strong and it's going fine. over 1 mil so far.

Mainly because they are STUPID. If you wanna last long on neopets you have to do a few things:

1- Have your MAIN account on a totally different IP. I suggest making it at a local club of some sort like an internet cafe?
2- Earn neopoints by hacking/autobuying/cheating etc on your own IP and store them on an account you pwn. Keep it there for no more then 5 hours. Only get NPs a few times a day for a few hours. Then sell everything you get. I usually start selling the crap when I reach about 5-6mil. That gives me enough time to plan etc.
Now in this 5 hours, you need to: get the neopoints, buy ETS items with the neopoints, send them to your account you made.
Next you need to basically change your IP, and repeat the steps until you have the desired NPs you wanna play with. I usually change my IP completely and log into my main account at about 25-30mil. The account lasts a month for me usually and i get iced for being a dick. Yes, I get bored easily. But if you track your steps, clear cookies, etc, you should be fine.

If you want to be really safe, reformat completely before you login to your main account biggrin.gif

Erm, most people already have their main account before making side accounts -- so I can't see this is that helpful?

Besides, if IP banning is so common, aren't you putting your main account at risk based on what other customers of the club/cafe are doing?

Karma. LOL No well ive been cheating over a year and just yesterday two good accts got frozen sad.gif because of a bad prog. Like most people are saying, stupidity. You must look at how what your doing will appear if your being looked at. Running like 5 different progs is gonna look suspicious.....Lately thought a lot of old good progs I had seem to be...down ...TNT are real hassles!

wouldnt it be good,to warn the comunity, what prog u think,is the one what got you frozen?

anyway, the download section still have alot of old things, what would increase the risk to get frozen, maybe some just need a update, other need a remove.

a bit more information about the "badprog" would be great, to make sure not every member risks the same.
sure we all have many alt-accounts, but would you risk a acc with maybe 50k and a labmap piece, just since you didnt know what of your progs is bad?
just as idea

same like the posting with the 2.2m in 2 weeks, great, but how?
the fact is, its easy to say something, but it isnt wrong to explain it a bit, eighter way.
bit more talk about, how n with what, could help.
i mean we dont talk about restocking secrets, just the basics,tool..setup.. and what to look for.

my 2 cents,regards.

That's a good question. I just created an account earlier today and got iced within the hour for having an inappropriate name. Guess the acronym OMFG isn't allowed. I personally think it's not the acronym itself that's vulgar (seeing as the F could be interpreted different ways), but what's vulgar instead is the way that people perceive the acronym and what it means.

I've been IP banned many many many times.
I've been frozen many many many many many times.

It''s usually while doing stupid stuff. Like leaving my autobuyer on for days to check speed and stuff.
