Multiples.
Multiple accounts. Multiple programs. Multiple actions (browsing neopets with browser and running a program).
Outdated programs as well and the way a program works can be at fault too.

Outdated programs, laziness, greed and plain stupidity. Some people think that they can run 2 programs and browse neopets at the same time. Probally because they don't know anything about headers.
At least I got the second half right
I'm guessing people get frozen often is because they don't quite know how the programs work. Myself included.

Main main reason I think (If you're not doing something that's obviously gonna get you froze):
Multiples.
Multiple accounts. Multiple programs. Multiple actions (browsing neopets with browser and running a program).
Outdated programs as well and the way a program works can be at fault too.
yeah if u have more programs on the easier it is to get caught and maybe the dumb stuff people do to try and get the game trophies too with the trainers

I have been frozen once in my many years at neo. For a BS excuses too. Back when ever premium members first got the charter board, after the regular premium boards starting getting full of retarded lame people, Me and some other charter members where on the normal premium boards chatting about restocking and some guy popped in and told us that he just restocked like 7 extremely hard to get items. I basically called him a liar, as i would have seen at least 1 of the items. Then some how I got frozen for harassment of a player.
Bull shit excuses. I ended up getting my account back in a few hours, but still pissed me off. ended up selling that account years later and got frozen about two days after I sold it

1- Have your MAIN account on a totally different IP. I suggest making it at a local club of some sort like an internet cafe?
2- Earn neopoints by hacking/autobuying/cheating etc on your own IP and store them on an account you pwn. Keep it there for no more then 5 hours. Only get NPs a few times a day for a few hours. Then sell everything you get. I usually start selling the crap when I reach about 5-6mil. That gives me enough time to plan etc.
Now in this 5 hours, you need to: get the neopoints, buy ETS items with the neopoints, send them to your account you made.
Next you need to basically change your IP, and repeat the steps until you have the desired NPs you wanna play with. I usually change my IP completely and log into my main account at about 25-30mil. The account lasts a month for me usually and i get iced for being a dick. Yes, I get bored easily. But if you track your steps, clear cookies, etc, you should be fine.
If you want to be really safe, reformat completely before you login to your main account

Mainly because they are STUPID. If you wanna last long on neopets you have to do a few things:
1- Have your MAIN account on a totally different IP. I suggest making it at a local club of some sort like an internet cafe?
Erm, most people already have their main account before making side accounts -- so I can't see this is that helpful?
Besides, if IP banning is so common, aren't you putting your main account at risk based on what other customers of the club/cafe are doing?

...yesterday two good accts got frozen because of a bad prog.
wouldnt it be good,to warn the comunity, what prog u think,is the one what got you frozen?
anyway, the download section still have alot of old things, what would increase the risk to get frozen, maybe some just need a update, other need a remove.
a bit more information about the "badprog" would be great, to make sure not every member risks the same.
sure we all have many alt-accounts, but would you risk a acc with maybe 50k and a labmap piece, just since you didnt know what of your progs is bad?
just as idea
same like the posting with the 2.2m in 2 weeks, great, but how?
the fact is, its easy to say something, but it isnt wrong to explain it a bit, eighter way.
bit more talk about, how n with what, could help.
i mean we dont talk about restocking secrets, just the basics,tool..setup.. and what to look for.
my 2 cents,regards.

I've been frozen many many many many many times.
It''s usually while doing stupid stuff. Like leaving my autobuyer on for days to check speed and stuff.
