Figures... why don't they just let people win instead of it being a glorified lever of doom tongue.gif If there's not chance of winning, they should tell us that rather than show all that np wasted...

i think it is kind of cool seeing how much money people wast there biggrin.gif think of what one person would do with the 10 mill jackpot

I could think of a few things I'd do. The money would go pretty darn quickly actually. Really I'd want a 50 mill jackpot before I'd have left over np tongue.gif 20 mill bdome set, 10 mill pet, nice gallery, etc.
I do try there about once a day purely because I've won the halloween PB twice off of it and so even if I don't win the jackpot, you can still get reasonable items.

the best i ever got was Scary Soup sad.gif

I would save it up for the interest in the bank

Did anyone see what the jackpot was up to before it reset? I'm just coming back to neopets after a year absence or so, and iirc it was up to 200 million or so

Well i cant seem to win anything at that game. If you get higher than 95 you'd win the jackpot but i doubt that would happen.

i dont think its a waste of np is only 300 go (i think) and if you do it veryday your bound to get good items eventually. i have won a halloween pb before and some pie thing worth 40k

and as for getting jackpot i doubt its possible

Wasn't there a person once who won the jackpot of 10 mill but got frozen?
I remember a story like that while ago.. I remember how people said it was a shame because tnt froze that person while he/she won it by just playing it.

I heard that it doesn't reset, and that the person who won the jackpot is invisibilized on the highscore table so they aren't scammed or abused.

mm I had thought of that, if I won big i'd request to have it removed, but why would they need to for a 10 mil jackpot. 10 mill isn't all that fantastic. When it was at 185,000,000 however... that I would understand.

true. i would want to be known by everyone on neopets as "The One Who Won the Impossible" thumbsup.gif

I remember a little while ago, someone (either a user or TNT) cleared the jackpot.
Well I just went to play it and it had:
Jackpot : 482,200 NP

But on the high score table the highest is 95.
So I'm wondering if they have some kind of score review stopping the person from appearing on the table, or if 95 gets the jackpot.
Also I'm wondering whether or not TNT have changed the likelihood of getting the jackpot to possible. Last time could have just been TNT clearing it, but this time it was up to around 10 mill or so (I don't remember exactly).

I think 95 gets the jackpot..

Is the test ur strength fully random or is there skill to it?

I read on a site someplace...not sure where it was, but some people had looked into the coding of the game. They found that it actually is impossible to get the jackpot. That is really a pain, to put it lightly. With so many people playing, the jackpot probably wouldn't get very high before it was won, so as far as winning extreme points from it.... prob wouldn't happen.

I think it is to regulate inflation in a little way. To be antagonistic to all the dupes and glitches happening, they make a glitch thats on their side dry.gif

Everyone knows that TYS (at least, how it was when I was still playing) is a massive pointsink. The jackpot exists more as a marker for how many points have disappeared from player-player circulation and into nothingness.
