Gah, JVC 61" LCOS (the tv is practically the same as the new Sony XBR 2)

and this is being compared to the old Philips 37" LCD which I am going to have in my room now

Comparison of the 2:

New JVC:

Old Philips:

we just moved into this house so thats why I dont really have a stand for either TV smile.gif so

btw I love the JVC, it has very nice picture quality compared to the philips, nice settings, FULL NATIVE 1080p, and great SD, should be great for movies

So it's a projection TV? I thought it was a plasma. Maybe that's why it was so cheap.

Uh, those are so annoying. You have to be sitting at the right level or else the screen looks completely black.

Well yeah, beats my 42" Plasma, but if it's rear projection, I'll stick with mine. tongue.gif

Nice, on getting to keep the 37" LCD.

lol the side angles are actually good on it, but if you're not at the right height then your barked tongue.gif still looks MUCH nicer than the LCD

BTW: The model 113 linked you to is old, mine is the Jvc HD-61FH97
