From the zuneinsider we learned that Microsoft has launched zune.net. They have also included on the site a new "Zune" theme for Windows XP that has an orange start menu button and a bit of a Windows Vista feel to it.

The site has some details on the Microsoft Points system, which it calls the coins of the Zune Marketplace relm.

I had a chance to play with a Zune for about 10 minutes last week and the screen is awesome. The navigation is not as smooth or quick as with my iPod, but overall a great looking device that will excel in the video content area. Since I only had one device to play around with I didn't get to check out the Zune to Zune sharing.

Enjoy,
Kamal.

NOTE: This looks best with the darkness skin. Also, if you didn't know, this is the deafult theme that's going to be used in the Vista version of Windows.

Sweet. I'm a fan of using themes myself except I use WindowBlinds which is used widely so I can choose quite a variety of different themes to download.

Anyways, ugly theme, I got the Vista hack and I have about 60 themes installed, this ranks about 50 or so.

Bah, Windowsblinds is terrible... google the StyleXP hack (uxtheme.dll replacement)

I have the vista hack as well. happy.gif It's pretty.

The new theme looks kinda nice, but the start button is too bright, IMO.

Was the Vista Hack posted on Codex before? I remember downloading a 40mb something that makes your system look like Vista. If so, I lost mine T_T.

Looks pretty ugly to me. I'm not much of a customizer anyway, always sticking with the default. tongue.gif

Ah nice find, as a fan of Zune myself, or a to-be-fan... lol, this is pretty cool... but too bad I'm on Vista.

So wow, you actually tried the zune? Can you explain to me a little how the navigation works.. is there some kind of heat censor or you press and hold...?
