Browsing through the moderating team, i found out that almost all of the mods are living in America and Europe, except Kitsune who is living in Australia. As such, during the time when the other half of the world is awake (people living in Asia, Australia), the mods would most probably be asleep and therefore unable to look over the board. Although only minority of the people here in codex are from those countries, nevertheless we should not 'deprive' them of a mod.

Thus, i suggest making more people from Asia or Australia mod as this will make the board being looked after all over the clock smile.gif

Codex has weird mods though. Their time zone really has no way to justify when they are online or not. Most members of the forum are on at awkward times.

True. I live in the US Eastern time zone, though I'm regularly up till 3, 4 am.. midday/early evening for a lot of you on the other side of the world.

We also have two mods (Joe and Zulf) from England anyways, so they cover another timezone =).

Err.. could you add some more 'substances' into your posts? 1we8.gif
Anyway i guess the promotions of mod had already ended, but sadly nothing much had been done in a bid to solve the problem. sad.gif

I don't think we really have anyone from asia that would be a suitable mod. Its not they just pick people from a distant country just because they need someone to cover the time zone. Quality over quantity MY FRIEND.

To be honest i think it's unnecessary to have any mods from Asia at the moment. Between the European and the Australasian mods i think the timezones are pretty much covered. tongue.gif

i don mean that there is a need for mods from Asia, but perhaps you need more mods from Australia to cover up the timezone (since Australia and Asia have somewhat the same timezone) and the only active Australian mod i see is Kitsune sad.gif

Balmung i agreed with you that quality over quantity, but can the quality mods be 24 hours on? Even how committed they are to codex, they need to rest, not saying they each have a social life and wont be on codex for long hours 1we8.gif

I don't think we can afford to choose location over qualification though.

We could always make Ryan mod... wink.gif
