you can get them from the pound but you can not create poogles.

yeah, I stopped zapping hi'm, trying to get my koi to turn into something more interesting, all of my pets except hi'm are painted.

I think it is possible to create Poogles on Poogle Day, they release a certain number of Poogles to be created (Poogle is such a funny word 
)
I remember recently they released a few thousand Kikos for Kiko day (yes, they've suddenly decided to become li'mited edition- I hate them though, they look weird, like Chias- though I do like fruit Chias).
I ENJOY the Neomail requests for my pets, they're so much fun to reply to! Usually when on the boards... well I know, I shouldn't do it, but some 'n00b' will come along and post a message like 'R THER NE PAINTED PETS GOIN TO TEH POUND?' and I say 'Surrrre... I'll give away my Faerie Meerca! And why not throw in my Tyrannian Tuskaninny?'
NOBODY gets the sarcasm, no matter how many laughing smileys I put. Nobody. I get so many Neomails after this asking for my pets- quite often they end with 'God bless u!'. (:blink:)
The funniest thing is when you get an angry Neomail saying that the pet was in the adoption centre and was supposed to go to them!
If the pleady Neomails are bugging you, just block and delete- but I just find them funny.
