uh... I would.
I'm not going to let a terrorist attack on a city stop me from my daily activities. Once people are afraid to do what they usually would, the terrorists win.
Fuck that.

yes, your pride is worth much more than your child's life.

Saw your post in the middle of all that rubbish about pony's Gen, and I'm very glad to hear you're okay . Sounds absolutely awful what's going on in Brazil but like you say, at least you can get away from it all here. I hope your situation improves soon for you though, and everyone else in Brazil, I really do .

yeah dude, wtf are you on about?
he went to the mall... and my pride means a hell of a lot to me. If you let terrorists win, they will continue to attack. It's like if someone broke into my house and me telling them to take what they wanted, just don't hurt me please.
Fuck that. You break into my house and you will get shot... it's as simple as that.
I don't know how things are where you were raised or how low your pride is, but you can't let people run over you in life or they will continually take advantage of you.
hmpf, maybe it's the difference in a leader vs. a follower... *shrugs*

what i meant is that he is like 11-12 years old afaik and any responsible parent would not let their child out if there really was a strong threat to being burned on a bus. especially not to go to the fucking mall. cody, you may be fearless but what i meant is if you had a child would you really want them to go on a bus if there was *mass* terrorism attacks in your area? especially to go shopping? lol. my school is across the street from ground zero, it really doesn't have any affect on me..but if they were blowing up the NYC trains all morning, i sure as hell wouldn't get on one in the afternoon. i'm pretty sure you wouldn't either.
i think you're missing the difference between prideful and stupid
imo he over-exaggerated completely, it probably wasn't even in his area...i can't imagine a parent being so irresponsible.

if it really was serious i'm sure they would of shut down whatever transit system they have in the area..at least temporarily.
Not every country is like the US. They can't just shut ti down. and like i think cody said, then the terrorists would win.
Glad to hear your ok

why cant' they? he doesn't live in the jungle, he lives in real city. i just read the article and it happened to be only one bus..who knows if this was even in his area? anyways if became a real act of terrorism with multiple attacks there is no doubt in my mind that the transit would be temporarily suspended

Speaker, he's just a little kid. I don't know what you were like, but back then, I was one paranoid guy. As were a lot of people around that age. So maybe he did exaggerate the danger a little (I'm not going to be the judge of that, seen as I don't have much of a clue how things are going over there), but that's all the more reason to assure him he's worrying too much and help him settle his fears.

And well, is like cody said, we can't let the terrorists win, I mean, is that because you live in other countries, if you live heere you would agree, US is a very good country also, Brazil is like
And no zulfi. unfortunetly I didn't exagerate, the situation here is worst than you can imagine, they're fucking shooting cop cars and cop security cabins x.x
They're killing innocents everywhere, yesterday was the last time I gone to the mall before the situation get worst, yes, I gone because I wanted to go with my friends and have some fun, but I see the fun won't be go to mall anymore for a long time, is a fucking chaos here x.x
And i didn't knew was that worst, I tought that was only a bus at city center, but it was worst than i could immagine, just knew after reaching my friend's house

yes i have no doubt in my mind that he was over-exaggerating, i was trying to make that clear to others. i mean seriously i find it funny, saying farewell to people on an online chat to "risk his life" to go to the mall and have fun. lol.
and english is not like other languages, you do not have an age you are an age. how many times do i have to tell you ?
you are 14, you don't have 14.
