Anyways, the first 20 secs of that clip you see these guys posing as "The New Black Panther Party" acting as bodyguards for the congresswoman who accused the security guard who did a body patdown on her to be racist and it was a national controversy. The rest is O'reilly's fat-ass talking about it with the guy he's interviewing.

These guys are really popping back up. It's too bad that the original black panther party's dead, at least they believed in something real.. all they were fighting for was equality. These anti-semitic remarks the guys claiming to be in the new black panther group make puts them on par with skinheads/neo-nazis, and Dr. Huey P Newton who helped found it would be rolling over in his grave (and according to the Dr. HPN Foundation, there is no new Black Panther party [they steal the name]).. The Black Panthers were for black power - yes, but not as in "Black power over whites", but rather power to defeat opression as a minority (and it was free for all races to join).

Also I hope people know that there was actually an organized effort by the FBI, "COINTELPRO", designed to destroy the Black Panther Party and other groups like Students for Democratic Society.

It's a common misconception too, that the Black Panthers were a violent supremacist organisation. It was founded by two civil rights activist and though it had black nationalism, it was a group for equality of all races (which is why they worked together with other peace activist groups/political groups for equality like the Students for Democratic Society).

Also, if you're interested in the Black Panters, you can check out archive videos on Youtube, link to the first of a few.

Agreed. People completely misinterpret what the Black Panthers stood for; I remember some wannabe gangstas trying to be cool and shouting Black Panthers at school a few years back. The Black Panthers weren't some KKK for African Americans, although this "New Black Panthers" looks as though it could lead to that.

You obviously have no idea what a skin-head is. Stop trying to encourage fighting about anti-semitism/neo-nazis and other far right political groups and try to keep on subject about the Black Panthers.

I'm not trying to encourage fighting about anti-semitism/neo-nazis specifically. I encourage against a belief in any form of racial supremacy.

As long as you're free to voice your beliefs here, I'll do the same. Thanks.

I've not made any marks about anti-semitism, but it seems to me all you're doing is flamebaiting.

It's not flame-baiting, in my eyes it's a perfectly valid news story which he added his opinions to it. Since when are we against that?

Well, I found that video clip more than midly disturbing. It's good that the woman didn't win the election, especially since she was associating with that group of people.(While her personal views may not be anti-white, it's obvious the New Black Panther group's are.)

The original Black Panther's were a way to fight for equailty, not black supremacy. It's an insult to them to have their name abused and disgraced that way. And the Black community has gained equality, yeah there are still some racial differences(both ways), but overall it's the same. Now there's more racisim against Mexicans/hispanic people than anyone.

Here's a good Site for the background of the original Black Panther Party.

See, thats the problem now, ever since we admited to treating another race wrongly, they have decided to take advantage of it, "Your fired becasue you havent been to work for the last week" "RACIST!", "I cant go out with you, I have a girlfriend" "RACIST", "I havent got any work from you, so your failing" "RACIST" and now, "We have to keep everyone safe, so im going to have to search you" "RACIST".

It sick and wrong, and the worst part is, every race is starting to do it, whenever they thing they can get something out of it, they scream RACIST! hopeing that someone will hear and punish this guy.

Just becasue someone can speak english better then you, and he finished high school before you, doesnt mean he got hired becasue your boss is racist. That would be the stupidist reason to hire someone in this age. "You would like to apply to be a Nuclear Scientist, oh, your white? Very well your hired" I dont think so, you have to be qualified in order to get a job.

The reason people are doing it more and more, is because of activist groups that support them, you triped on the curb? Yeah, that curb is racist! and then we have a big lawsuit against the maker of that curb, becasue it racist! Honestly guys, maybe race has nothing to do with it, maybe its becasue you cant pick you foot up 2 inches to step over it. Maybe its becasue you didnt finish highscool, and your wearing gangster clothes, maybe its becasue the guy is trying to save peoples lifes. Or, maybe its becasue the guy had more experiance then you, or maybe the security guy was a pervert and he wanted to touch you, hes still not racist (being racist would be not touching you, so you should be glad he touched you...)

I think its all just sick and wrong.

What does that have anything to do with The Black Panther Party? They believe in racial equality. . .

Yeah and look where it's lead..? Last time I checked, the Black Panther Party was still a group for racial equality by the time the party was no more.
