vb express = vb.net
you shouldn't use vb6 code in .net. there is legacy support for many of the old functions, but it's better to learn how to do everything the .net way. xp home should run vb express just fine.

Didn't really understand the first question... Mind editing it?

Don't worry about the clash of home and Vb.net, it'll work fine. I have home too. tongue.gif The only issues I have is with regex and thats not even part of default VBE.
.NET is quite a bit different from VB6, so start off by looking at Alias's tuts in the tutorial section. smile.gif

I thought Window XP service Pack 2 = Window Exp Professional but I realized that I can upgrade the service pack at Microsoft update webpage xD
