So you kids out there that have cars, mind posting what insurance you have, your car, and your premium?

It'd be quite a help since I'm insurance shopping.

Here's to hoping. smile.gif

-edit...
So, I need people from California only, because you guys from other states aren't helping, just making me jealous. :tear:

I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am.
I have full coverage, I do believe...
&& it's $$821 every six months.
I know it's costly, but it's the best insurance around here.

Costly?
Dayum.
We have bloated prices if that's costly. sad.gif
The least I've found so far was $1140 and that was with AllState.
I'm trying to get survival, but no go. sad.gif
I'll keep hunting.

Sounds a bit like that....
Things have always been cheap here, at least to me. HAH.
....but it's because people don't make as much here as they do other places.

Car insurance is such a joke, i got in an accident, other persons fault, but they found some flaw, saying i was responsible, even though the law says it was there fault. I had to pay the full 500$

Also, be a bit more specific when you guys say 'full coverage': How much liability are you covered for? The minimum? (10/25/10, depending on the state.), what's your deductible on comprehensive/collision...you get the drift Otherwise the information isn't specifically useful, because you could have a $500 deductible on comprehensive, making it dirt cheap, etc.

I would have been more specific but I couldn't find my insurance papers to look up all that...
And I'm not going to at almost midnight....

Can't you go to some place like progressive.com and go there? They say that they show the compeditor's rates and stuff. I've never been there though so I really don't know for sure. My family uses Geico but they live in WA where it's less expensive so I can't help you there :x

^ Progressive is ridiculous.
They make you select a majority of the policies which jacks the price up my anus, and it isn't a very enjoyable experience. The comparing quotes thing brought me to the conclusion that state farm was the cheapest possible, but they don't provide quotes online, you have to go to a dealer and buy their damn insurance.
Geico was a pretty hiked up price as well.
Allstate was the best thing I've ran into so far.
It's a bitch. 1we8.gif

Oh, wasn't aimed at you specifically. Sorry =/ Haha. I figured most would know it off the top of their head, it is kind of important after all. Such is life.

And I can't believe I'm still up. It's one. Wow.

Oh....well it's ok. I guess one day I'll look it up. Meh.

I'm not sure; I never paid for any of my 3 trucks, nor the insurance for all of them.

I think my dad insures them through his business or something, or mayeb that's how they're registered... I have no idea. XD I just drive them.

it used to be a big 'ol ford F-150.

but my daddy sold my poor carl when I left canada.

but since then, yes. he's bought be a 2002 F-350 super duty flatbed, and a black little 2007 ford sport ranger.

Jesus, you guys have expensive insurance. blink.gif
We get like $200 every 6 months for any car we have on the lot/personal use.

It's probably cause we're an dealership/auto shop though,
We have AAA.

Nah I meant $4000 so the Yanks wouldn't have to do the conversion.

I'm expecting roughly between 1500-2000 quid for my first car.

Corsa? Clio? I don't know really, not really looking into it that much since I've only started taking lessons.
