This news post is here to inform you about the current status of the board since we have opened registrations. It seems that we've discovered a new wave of popularity.
Programming Sector/Neocodex Products:
As you may have noticed, Neocodex has become a lot more active in recent days. Our programs are being used three to four times as much as normal, according to these statistics:
Average Daily Uses of Programs Pre-March 3rd: ~250
Average Daily Uses Post-Mar. 3rd ~ 900
As well, the Neocodex programmers took part in a meeting March 4th. In this meeting, we assessed certain goals of the programming team and outlined some tasks that need to be completed immediately. These tasks include a downloads system cleanup, and mass recreation of programs to conform with current standards. We are currently seeing heightened activity in the programming area, and I'm delighted to report that the enthusiasm for programming has indeed returned.
The Board:
On March 3rd and 4th, the board experienced a sharp increase in board activity. The activity experienced on March 4th marked the highest point we've seen so far in 2007, and is a true sign that we are slipping out of our recession as predicted.
One thing that completely surprised the Administration was the amazing rate of registrations. During the first hours of opening the site, we were quite disappointed that we didn't achieve the immediate amount of members we wanted in the first hour or so.... if any of you remember the morning of July 4th, we received approximately 30 registrations in the first minute. However, July 4th only yielded 94 members that day. On March 3rd and 4th, we topped the biggest day for registrations in Neocodex history:
Server statistics are reflecting an amazing amount of traffic being directed towards our site. Currently, the amount of hits we have stands at 1030011 according to Webalizer. If we used a rough projection of how much we expect to achieve for the whole month (based on the last 5 days, which may be inaccurate), this total is roughly 6 million hits, another unprecedented amount. We'll wait and see.
In conclusion, I think we'll be staying open for a while yet.

So right now, we're interested in hearing what you think about the conditions we've seen in the last couple of days. Staff is always open to input, so give them a shout sometime!
