QUOTE
Remnok the Nomad has a brother, Damon the Nomad, who's fond of coming up with math puzzles. Anyway, he came up with one that uses his own name:

Assume each letter in the following formula represents a unique digit: (for example, ABCD could be the number 1234)

NOMAD x 4 = DAMON

What is the number represented by the digits DAMON?

Feel free to discuss the puzzle and ways to go about solving it, but do not post the answer here (it's not allowed). If you think you have the answer then pm it to me or Insanedragonz and we'll tell you if it's right or not smile.gif

those of advanced member rank or higher can view the answer here http://www.neocodex....showtopic=66507

It's a 5 digit number, each letter represents a number. You start out with a low 5 digit number, when you multiply that number by 4 you get larger number who's digits are the inverse of the first. so as an example, 12345 becomes 54321 (not the answer)

Go Warlord!

I think I'll get the avvie. I could be dead wrong though. I entered the answer almost immediatly after warlord posted it(I was online at the right time and place). But like I said, I could be wrong and not get it. I wouldn't really mind not getting it. If I get it, cool. If I don't, oh well smile.gif
