Who says that clones will necessarily be evil? They're just people, same as the rest of us. The only difference is they've got exactly the same DNA as a person, say, a twin thats more like the original person than a twin ever could be. And hell, even that isn't a good example. They've got the same genetic material as you but not necessarily the same experiences, thoughts, memories etc as you. So it'd kind of be wierd to have someone look exactly like me, but not think the same as me.
And thats not even taking into account the age factor
If technology permitted, would you be willing to clone yourself?

Lol, figures you'd beat me to it. And I passed you on post count ages ago. You went inactive for a few months and I pulled ahead

I wouldn't. The world only has room enough for one of me so...

Well if a clone were to be made and it was the same age as me as soon as it was made, then yes. I would only use the clone for organ transplants, though. You wouldn't have to be on pills the rest of your life or worry about your body rejecting the organ if you have an exact copy of it. I mean sure it would be nice to have a slave , but my life counts more then having a slave or not.
And yes, I am ripping this idea from "The Island"
