I wanted to do something like that except with Nuclear engineering but engineering is dead. You will never get a lot of money for that job. But if you love what you do and money isn't the most important thing then by all means have fun =)

Finish HS.
TRY to get into Brown/Purdue/Michigan. Im already accepted into Louisville but not a good school. wink.gif
Work for GE as intern.
Work as GE 10-15 years
Try to move over to another company or start my own for more money. wink.gif This decision mostly will depend on whether i am having fun at GE or not. A lot of family has worked there, but I also have a real estate franchise that my Dad is giving me a percent of. I don't really know where my future goes from here. I will just have to wait a couple of years.

I think... or at least hope, you'll end up as more than a Garbageman, Socko...

Good luck with the six-figure advert job... My friend has been in the business for a while and he still has to do freelance work on the side to keep himself steady in income.

For me...
Finish high school through senior year and graduate with a 3.7 GPA or higher.
Get into Carnegie-Mellon, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, or Ohio State University for Computer Science and Engineering (or similar.)
Graduate with my bachelors.
Work for Apple Inc., Panic Inc., or Volition, Inc. with a decent salary in my 2nd year.

A good point...
Do the "wee hours" count as day, or night?
I'd say day... usually after Dawn, they come, don't they?

Complete junior and senior year of high school where I specialize in telecommunications and computer science.
Interning at a business firm next year though as part of senior requirements.

Majoring in Business Administration and Management for college. Hopefully at NYU Stern.
Probably moving to NYC and working there like the 90% of Stern grads who have jobs at business firms/banks/etc in NYC.

Possibly attending Graduate School for Masters few years later.

Might want to research that career path a bit more before you think so optimistically.
