This will end quickly, trust me. Most people want nothing to do with Linux, and would rather stick to Windows.

I wouldn't be so sure of that... I'm sure a main reason why most people don't already have linux is that they're unable to install it or whatever. Now that dell does for you it might bring more users. Also, another reason would probably be the lack of people knowing what it actually is.. maybe with dell preinstalling linux more people will learn more and therefore be compelled to have linux.

In reply to what Urban said; I doubt that really. Me personaly I love the fact that they are preinstalling Linux now. I think that Linux is 100x better then windows but im forced to use Windows because all of my software and games only run on windows to their fulll capability. Maybe now some games and applications will be made more cross-OS.
