Unforunately I have no experience with PSP internet connectivity.... only experience with my crappy Linksys router that used to like to cut out but never seems to anymore (which is good).

Sorry ;(

Chat support may be good for Linksys (not sure, never tried it), but I don't recommend their telephone support line.... my friend has a Linksys router and he's mentioned a lot about them to me in frustration, haha.... they're not very helpful (can barely understand them, don't know what they're doing, etc...)

Never seen one of those before sorry. Either try google or a PSP forum/site.

when you install the router it should tell you the WEP key, enter that into your PSP and it should connect. or you can just make your connection unprotected & directly connect that way

This is what you get for buying a no-name adapter. 1we8.gif

It is unprotected, It just wont find the network address.

And i found out is a Via 6656 Usb Adapter.

Make sure to set your LinkSys to DHCP server, and set your PSP to be on DHCP...

dosen't the PSP have WIFI on it's own? i've used the WIFI before in my campus. how about u try using it without the adapter?

edit: oh yeah.. my campus has proxy.. maybe that's the cause?

Harely, correct me if I am wrong. But isnt that a wireless USB adapter? Do you not require a router to connect the PSP to the internet.

I think you misread the item description.

You need either a wireless router or Wifi Max which plugs into a wired PC and makes a wireless connection off that

Um... maybe add an account for your PSP? Cause it says you can add new users... Maybe it's denying your PSP access?

The easiest thing to do would be to check your DHCP settings on the usb adaptor, and make sure that the WEP key is a compatible bit size (128-bit, 64-bit, etc.) for the PSP. Aside from this, I can only say that you get what you pay for, and while some no-name adaptors work well, others don't work at all. Good Luck!

Im kind of confused by that, but i think that allows you to connect to a network through your PC instead of creating a network(that your PSP would connect to). Your probably going to need to get a router, I suggest Netgear.
