Ok, call me stupid, or young and foolish or whatever you feel like. But wait till the end.


Ok, so on Sunday of last week, as in about 9 days ago. I start talking to someone, the girl my friend liked. To see if I approved, and why he liked her so much... I found out... just through MSN... and we spent the week talking over MSN... because we didn't want my friend to get suspicious and hurt his feelings... Anyways, he found out eventually, and so he told us to go together... so we planned on it. And talked more... so now that it was out, we decided to hang at lunch... I've been sick for about 4 or 5 days, and had 40 minutes about of sleep because I coughed so much last night... She wanted me to go to school though, so I went... hung around at lunch, like planned... and then it wasn't so great... I made a horrible first impression... and anyone that does a lot of talking on msn, knows that it's all different in person... So, on top of me not being near so... me... in person, I was sick, and half consious. And so we all agreed she should go with my friend, because I'd rather her be happy and him be happy... so now... I feel like pure, utter, shit... and for the moment, nothing exactly matters

Amen. It only takes a few times before you begin not to trust them anymore. My personal experience tells me that friends care a lot more about you, so maybe this has truth in it.

You shouldn't have been in such a condition for your first impression. It isn't you job to look good-- it's your job to look good but act like you aren't trying to look good. Presence is a lot and you shouldn't ever meet a potential mate in bad conditions.

Anyways, I'll add to the "Bros before hoes." If you're going to do it, talk to your friend and see how he'll feel and let it go if he doesn't like it.
