I'm interested. We'll have to see how much money I can earn this summer, but it shouldn't be too hard to get it together by next summer. Convincing my parents (who are partially paying for college) however, might be a bit more difficult.

I've already made plans in my head to make a stop at the Grey Area.

I'd like to know what you guys are looking at for budgets pertaining to rooms and stuff. I know hostels are cheap, but I've also found some relatively nice apartments/small houses that a couple of us could all go in on and stay in for about the same price... except private bath/wc, and a shitload of other amenities... as well as not just one room.. we'd have a kitchen, a living room, bedroom, etc...
I neglected to mention that said apartment may very well have a private hot tub/jacuzzi. Depending on the number of people who would want to go in on something like this with me, the size of the apartment/house and location will vary. I've found a really nice one with a jacuzzi and fully furnished for fairly cheap, that sleeps two.. which means only one person to room with me and split the price.

I'm just curious if anyone would want in on something like this, or if you guys would prefer doing the hostel/hotel thing.

Apartment would be great if you could find one that is cheap enough and would fit us all in xD but for most of the people that are coming we need to make it as cheap as possible...

i wish i could go, i've always wanted to check out the anne frank house - but by july 08 i'd only be 17

if anyone were to go from the tri-state area i'd be interested, but other than that i don't think it'd work

yea im not at all worried about passing off as 18, i'm sure i could. the only problem would be getting my parents to be okay with me gone for 2 weeks

I would still like to come (I'll be turning 19 over that period of time, so I'll definately be 18 by then) if I can. I can't give a very good idea of my budget until I'm at university for a while though because I don't know how my cash flow is going to work out until I experience it, I don't know what loan I'm getting or whatever yet, nor what job I'll have in Chester .

So if I'm wanted, I'd like to come. I don't really wanna be a crash to the whole party thing though because I've said before, I don't wanna do the drug side of it . I won't kick up a fuss to whoever else does of course, just a personal thing.

Depending what I can afford will be what decides how long I stay really, I don't exactly hold birthdays in high regard, so I'm not bothered about not being at home for it.

that's totally cool.. believe it or not.. I'm not going to Amsterdam to smoke pot... hell.. I could do that in the states.. I just think it'd be a nice change of environment.. from a super strict country, to THE most liberal city in the world. Not to mention all the sights and scenery..

I actually found a boat-home for rent along the canal that we could stay in.. it looks really nice.. *sigh*
