What is Lucozade? Sounds odd.

Lucozade is a glucose based energy drink popular amongst athletes and people in hospital. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucozade

In terms of accents - from talking to Ian, I'll say midland accents suck. Barely understood a word he said Whereas when I spoke to Suz she was easy to understand.

OH and wherever those barkers on 'coronation street' are from, well that area is the worst. I'd rather shoot myself than listen to them all for more than 5 mins

I would agree that brummie accents (birmingham, west midlands) are the worst in England (definitely worst than the 'coronation street' accents mainly mancunian), but certainly not the least understandable. I believe that my accent would hold that particular distinction, we have words which just don't exist for the rest of the English speaking world.

Without a doubt the North wins. I'm from the North West and I used to live in London....I hated it, southerners are mostly arrogant pigs lol (from my experience).

Personally, I've only been to London and surrounding area, and I loved it.

Poor Ian, being a Brummie It's one of those accents where you sound thick even if you aren't. If Einstein was all "moi theoraay of relitivitaaaay.." no one would have taken him seriously. Having said that, I live in the west near Bristol, so the accent down here isn't much better. Everyone thinks west country people are slow yokel farmers xD A lot of people here sound like Justin Lee Collins, and even those that don't have a slight west-country twang. It's all in the rrrrrs. I don't sound like a wurzel though.. I'm from the home counties! I speak the Queen's English! South for the win
