I have braces, so if I don't brush after, I have food stuck in my mouth and my breath smells like Lucky Charms.

lmao at least lucky charms smell good!
I seriously want some now, though. THANKS A LOT!!! tongue.gif

You consider yourself weird because you enjoy brushing your teeth? What are you doing when you "brush your teeth?"

Oh my god this is like theeee question that always bothers me. I always did it before and always will because i mean yeah that bacteria issue. And you're breath smells worse after you wake up then after a meal sooo uhm right when i wake up i brush. But then sometimes if i have time i brush after breakfast too with Plax mouth wash especially if its eggs eww but eggs are reallly good for you!

I need some pure Oatmeal first thing in the morning, its diesel for my weasel, fuel for my mule, gas for my as-- I was saying, happy.gif basically its the only thing that really gives me a constant energy, anything else is like a big short Turbo charge followed by long lag till Lunch.

Man i eat plain oatmeal too!! With dates though cuz i workout and they say dates are real good for that stuff.

I think most people only floss just before the dentist. I used to be like that.

Oh always after. The problem is if you do it before you will have that food in your mouth from breakfast until when you brush your teeth next which will probably be at night. It's just better for your teeth if you do it after to just protect from the bacteria feeding on the sugars and fiber from your breakfast. The thing is it's not the bacteria feeding on your teeth which is the problem as they really don't do that. They feed on the food on your teeth and then their waste causes cavities as it burns away at them. (Same effect comes from stomach acid)

Gawd this topic has brain washed me, I've randomly brushed my teeth when I've been bored.... five times so far and all because of this talk of toothpaste mouthwash floss bacteria, its made me somewhat paranoid, and yet I have only eaten twice today and Neo likes food 1we8.gif

I always brush after. I figure you swallow the bacteria anyway, and brushing before makes your breakfast taste funky, then you have breakfast on your teeth.

I'm suprised you haven't experienced it before ohmy.gif ....Well I wouldn't try it at any rate, it tastes very unpleasent and leaves such a horrible after taste. You could put a few mint sprigs in a carton so the whole family can experience it biggrin.gif
