I do not think I have heard of them. What kind of music do they fall into?

They're alright. I'm not a huge fan of them though. I've only heard that "Bat town" song of theirs(or whatever it's called)

Wiikpedia says Metalcore, Heavy Metal, Hard rock, but I wouldn't consider them that heavy. I would say their similar to Metallica, except more upbeat, more focused on lyrics, and more modern. They are reallly good though!

Same here! Its so dynamic! I could listen to it over and over because I always notice something new about it when I listen to it again.

I'm an avid A7X fan. I liked them before City Of Evil (All the songs mentioned in here are from City Of Evil). People should go listen to Unholy Confessions, Warmness On the Soul, Chapter 4, An epic of time wasted, and loads of others. These are off there over albums. I really love seize the day on CoE though because it's so flowing and chilling. It makes you think and relax. Sidewinder is also a great song, with a great Spanish guitar solo. They have a DVD coming out on 7/7/07 so you should check it out.

I was going to one of thier UK gigs, but they canceled to work on the upcoming album. Anybody want to talk more about a7x or music, just hit me up on my MSN.

Avenged Sevenfold is pretty good.. not my favorite, but they're enjoyable for me

i dont realy like them, because .. well they sound alot like bad religion. they also parts of their songs sound alot like it was stolen from 80s rock and turned into something its not.You dont take chorus distortion and turn it to a straight metal petal. Plus when they two hand tap it doesnt sound like it. It sounds like sweet picking. I could realy fish out this entire bands flaws. It is one of those bands that make me wonder why my band isnt famous yet. they realy are just bubble gum rock to me, check out bad religion they are ten times better.

I like Bad Religion but I don't think there as good as Avenged Sevenfold. I see no resemblances by the way ( especially in 1st and second album). I think they are a great band considering the shite the music industry is producing today.

This band wasn't famous and was probably thinking the same thing. It took them 6 years to get big. Everyone things they are a new band, and there totally wrong.

not realy, a real band is wolfmother. compared to them avengeseven fold is drowning. It may be true that every one thinks they are the next big thing buts thats because they have gay queer sound like mcr, and or avengeseven fold. open your eyes and keep off the booze so you can notice that avengeseven fold is the figurative fat chick.
