Ok so I wanted to go see 1408 this weekend but since we brough the girls with us i ended up going to see
Ratatouille instead. It was not too bad a movie for being a kids movie. If you like disney movies or have young kids this is one to go see. Basically it is about a rat who has a passion for cooking and ends up teaming up with a bumbling trashboy to become a chef.

I'll see this when it's out on DVD. The reviews for it have been phenomenal, so I'm tempted to see it.

Ah I saw the preview for this, it looks pretty funny smile.gif

It did have its comical moments, I found myself laughing along with the kids.

But I will say for those going with kids there is a short movie before it so be prepared to be there about 2 hours. There seemed to be a never ending shuffling of kids in thier seats towards the end of the movie.

I think I'll be seeing this soon. I would rather see 1408 over this one... but it's not in our nearest theatre. Why would you go see Ratatouille instead of 1408 because of girls anyways??

Yes I was refering to my kids andI I figured it would not have been a good movie choice for a 3 and 6 year old wink.gif

I totally understand! Me and my boyfriend went to see it like two hours ago. I liked it. It was cute and had quite a few non-kid jokes, I thought. I liked it mainly because the animation was beautiful and so totally realistic...

-wonders what kind of jokes Chris would've cracked at a cooking rat-

Bleh, ill wait until it comes out on DVD. I would have gone to see 1408 instead. But I heard the cooking that they did was also real for the story.
