It's been down for a while now, any ideas on what they are doing or why it's taking so long?

I think they are COMPLETELY recoding thwe whole thing.... so hopefully i'll lok much better and be more effecient when they get it back up. From what they said in the editorial they heaven't gotten it up yet due to a lack of programmars... or a lack of time to programm it... becuase they've been busy with other things... (what could possebly be more important?) but yeah... it's been down for over a month now

Ther eis no way to stop that! you'd permanetly have to take down the pound to do that..... WAIT ..... maybe that's what they're doing!!!!

Looks like i will have to recode my whole pound adopter program but yeah it has been down for a very long time. Neopets likes to start tasks that they get too lazy or sidetracked to finish. that's what i think anyway

oh they got sidetracked allright... they even implied it in the editorial. They said they started it and then they didn;t have enough time to finish it because they had other deadlines to meet... so they should of just waited with the pound untill they knew they could finish it.
which actually brough up an interesting point... since we can only abandon our neopets, once the pound reopens there will be hundreds of thousands of neopets on there.... alot of which will be rare, painted neopets... so it should be alot of fun to browse through if it ever opens up again.

I'm hoping they include a system where you can choose who the pet will go to, to safe transfer pets. They know it happens, and will *never* be able to stop pet transfers so may as well lessen the amount of complaints they must get by people crying coz their pixels went to the wrong place.

I hope you know that won't happen.

cube alone has 3 avy pet sibn the pount.. i bet there's thousands more out there... and we al need a BD pet... so i hope you'll be on within the first 2 of when the pound opens.. cause they'll be all gone if you're not..

and TNT will never make a sfe transfer system... they like seing people suffer... but no they said something about it in one of the editorials.. that they weren't going to do it.... part of the reason why they took down the old system in the pound ( where you could search for a particular colour os species)

Hope they make account to account transferring easier somehow... Maybe if the accounts share the same email or something you can transfer directly to them. That would be great. Oh well, they're just being lazy, all it will probably be is some 'sleek' new recoding, no new features or anything knowing TNT.

i dont know if its going to be down for ANOTHER four months , or there WAS four months of work to be done on it before they started, either way, this was what was discussed on the neopets help boards yesterday?

i think they should make searching for a pet easier, if i remember correctly... unless you wanted a specific pet and you knew the name, it was all random and i thought that was really annoying >:| i mean at least let you search with certain parameters BESIDES what name... and i don't see how transfering can be made any easier and they won't bother at all i think
