lol can you get sued for using a program like make me rich? i mean... it just clicks links basically..

I heard that Cheesie-Neo got sued for all those programs he made... i think it was like 50,000$ a program

Making programs to alternate a company's code is illegal because neopets is copyrighted, it's even in their policy. I wouldn't be surprised if cheesie got sued, however it's sad that his website is gone

No, the only people that actually get any kind of legal action against them are copyright infringers - in other words they don't put any disclaimers on their programs as to who own neopet images, etc, or they try and sell np, pets and accounts for usd which again is a copyright infringement.
Codex covers those bases and so doesn't get sued Codex is actually technically legal

yah i would say thats to extreme but the idea is sure great , but i think if they did make one neopets would find out an shut down the site

How'd you come to be 65% sure?

Because I know we have some very intelligent people on Codex, many going into very respectable career fields. I was about 90% sure, but if I was wrong I would look stupid with such a high percentage, so I lowered it down to something above 50%, but was still possible that you were not.

So really, the 65% was just to cover my ass.
