I'm glad to hear everything went well. You might be more sore tomorrow, as the second day is always the worst. But it should subside soon after that. At least you got it over with, I still need to get mine pulled.

If it is a lot worse I will bump up to the more powerful painkiller. They gave me two, and one was for if the pain was unbearable. Currently I'm on Penicillin and Ibuprofen, but if I need to I'll switch to Hydrocodone/Vicodon (I probably spelled it wrong earlier, I just looked it up, lol)

I took Vicodon for the first 2 days at regular intervals.

Oh instead of creamy soups you may want to try more... brothy soups. Like chicken noodle or other things like that. Personally I find them more full of flavor and plus cream soups tend to leave more residue since they tend to have more fat. I mean I don't know again about wisdom teeth but with my gum surgery it wasn't fun.

Trust me, I got some soups with more substance. I just wanted the cream of potato tonight, I needed something and that was good.

Is it Wisdom Teeth removal season?
At least 5 people I know have had their wisdom teeth removed in just this past week. Weird.
I hear from them that it's not bad; you just have to deal with the bleeding prior to the operation. Also, don't smoke, drink from a straw, perform fellatio, or any other sucking action. Avoiding these activities will ensure you don't develop dry socket, which sucks.

I've been avoiding all those things
I finally had some substantial food... Instant Mashed Potatoes, lol. Best meal in the past two days.

A friend of mine who recently had them removed says macaroni and cheese is a good meal. He's also partial to Jello.

I'm 20 and my wisdom teeth never came through. I wasn't aware they were such a nightmare before coming across this topic. Is it somehow possible that mine will never come through??
