They made me sleep...but they numbed me too, and gave me painkillers after. The cheeks were more of a problem than the pain for me

They put me out for awhile. I had to get six teeth, which include four of my wisdom teeth, in preparation for jaw surgery, which I'm having on Wednesday.

Yeah, its been a long time.
I consented to local anesthesia and general anesthesia (Like hell would I want to be awake), sadly it was intravenously (I hate needles). So they prick me with the IV in the back of the hand (Took him a while to find the vein, and I prefer having them do it there rather than the arm). When they start the flow I talk a bit about football with the guy, his kids go to another school in our conference. Next thing I know, I'm awake with gauze in my mouth.
We came home, I fell asleep for a bit, woke up, changed gauze, watched Day after Tomorrow, changed gauze, continued watching Day After Tomorrow, changed gauze, continued watching Day After Tomorrow, changed gauze, continued watching Day After Tomorrow... whatever, for like 2-3 hours. I think the bleeding has subsided enough, its still oozing, but its not bad. Right now I'm eating ice cream because I'm extremely hungry, I haven't had food in 19 hours. My teeth hurt, but I've got some pain killers (Vikanen and some other stuff), I couldn't down them earlier because my mouth was so numb, including my tongue, but now I can. Its not that painful. It hurts a bit, but some pulled muscles in the past have hurt more.

Just remember after you eat wash your mouth with salty water to things don't get infected and all yucky.
How many did you get taken out?
All four, it bled for about 3 hours, and may have just been oozing the whole time. Only thing that is still numb right now is my lower lip and the area below that, lol. I hate it though
I should probably do that salty water shit. I know I've got something to protect against infections... One of the three meds they gave me, but I should do it anyways.
It hurt like hell to eat ice cream. I hope today is the worst, because its not unbearable, but I hate being unable to eat. Next item I try is pudding or apple sauce.

Soup is your friend
And you shouldn't need any anti-biotics unless you aren't going to do the salty water thing after you eat anything.
They gave me anti-biotics while I was asleep and had a huge allergic reaction to it (they gave me the anti-biotics that are for people who have allergies lol), and they said it's fine to not have anti-biotics as long as I did the salty water thing.
If you've started the anti-biotics though... don't stop. That's bad
The thing they gave me suggested mushy/watery food, and everyone says Ice cream. I had some soup, wasn't much better. It was Cream of Potato, and was really creamy, the potato bits didn't cause any problems.
I'd rather take the antibiotics and not have to worry about infections as much than to not take antibiotics. Its just another safety net I do the salt water + baking soda stuff (1/2 tsp of each in a warm glass of water).
There is NO way I'll be able to sustain myself eating only soups over the next 2-3 days

Its not that bad afterwards, at least mine aren't. I believe that is because my teeth were so close to the surface. Make sure to take general anesthesia, way better than only taking local. It would suck to be awake for the half hour they are digging/messing around in your mouth.
