Is this for real?

I saw this on an ad that was on Neopets . It looks for real. But sheesh. Did anyone know about it? I sure didn't.

Looks like the myspace people made a sister site, or its someone else and they just copied the myspace site and made it neo related.

I looked around myspace and saw nothing about an affiliation. So it's probably a rip off. Obviously they dunno anything about it. That or they do and don't care.

Far more liekly someone copied. They will very likely get shut down by myspace for copyright issues though. They've done an appropriate disclaimer for neopets but not for myspace.

I see that, I just signed up to do a little checking out and they say right off the bat they are not related to either site but they coded it all themselves. But it looks exactly like Myspace from top to bottom. I do not see these guys sticking around too long unless they work out some deal with MySpace.

Is this site owned by Neopets or MySpace?
No, we are not at all affiliated with either of them.

Is this site legal?
Although we do have many similar things that MySpace does, we coded everything and did everything the legal way.

Did you see when they first started? If it's been a while, then they probably won't get caught anytime soon. Unless alot of people start reporting it.

If not then they're probably relatively new.

As for coding it themselves, come on. The name even has "my" and "space" in it.
