Alright, so my friend saw my Zune.. and since we live in canada, I'm pretty much one of the really rare ones who owns one.. actually, even in the US it's rare to have one. Well, he found it really cool and offered me a deal I couldn't refuse.

Today I traded my Zune (brown) to him for, get that, a Black iPod Video 30gb, a Blue iPod Nano 4gb, and a Black Gameboy DS (New). All that, for a zune... I mean, wow... crazy deal.

I might keep the ipod video and sell the rest.. or sell them all, buy a new zune and keep the rest of the money.. not sure yet. But whatever I do, I still come out as the winner in this.

Besides, he doesn't care.. he's fairly loaded when it comes to money and really doesn't mind about those things.

Discuss great deals/trades you've made.

Been given an iPod for free.
Some lame attempt to be my friend.
Kid was just some asshole who was mean to kids just to get attention.

Sold the iPod for 150 dollars to some random guy at the mall. tongue.gif.

Holy shit that's a hell of a deal! I would take that deal without even thinking twice. Congrats! happy.gif

The only deal I can think of is when I had this one pokemon card that every kid in school wanted(this was about 7 years ago, when literally everyone in the US loved pokemon). It was this rare holographic charizard that no one had but me. Word got around that I had it and offers started coming. I rejected all of them. But this one kid came to my house once, held his hand out, and said "I'll give you $80 for that card!". I instantly gave it to him and snatched the money out of his hands. I think he might have stolen the money from his mom, but I didn't care tongue.gif

My Grandma bought a house for 19,000$ refinished it and everything for an extra 5000$ and then sold it for a total of 70,000$ which= 46,000$ profit in 2 weeks. I am pretty sure she used some book advertised on TV, supposed to work miracles.

Ahaha tongue.gif I remember that time. Yeah, 80$ must've been a lot to you in the time. I know it would've been to me. Atleast, a lot for a card tongue.gif

$80 is still a lot to me sad.gif

My parents have a friend who buys real estate as a second job/hobby, fixes up the place over 4 or so months, and resells the property. They've made everywhere from $5000-$50,000 profit from that. Its a lot of work with gaps in between payments, but what good money!

The only deal I can think of involving me, is when a guy my dads friends with scalped Chiefs tickets from a guy in the parking lot like 5 hours before game time for $250 each (5 seats), and then resold them for $1000 a piece about an hour before game time.

I don't do deals. If they don't give it to me, I find someway to make sure they 'misplace' it =P

I need an ipod 1we8.gif

heh, I havent done many "deals" or "trades" but the best one iv done is:

I bet this guy on CS and he hated his new G5, so he traded me a Logitech G5, Razer Diamondback, and a 15$ best buy gift card, all for my Logitech MX510 (which is worse)

So I made about 85-90$ or so off that trade 1we8.gif

i bought a PSP for £50 with 3 games that were new at the time. I kept the PSP a year, sold it and one of the games for £20 profit.

not amazing, but having a PSP for a year and gaining £20 isnt bad

I won a PSP in a bet a few months back... My friend in school dared me to eat 15 ice lolly things. And then he bought it back... Easy money.

most codexers woulda been 3 years old in the days when pokemon cards were worth something and not know what that means unsure.gif

how do you know the charizard wasn't fake?

Because it was a shiny one and the fake shiny ones always looked like shit.

I hope it wasn't fake, you better not have crushed one of my best childhood memories to bits!
