I've noticed it and it does bother me sometimes . But really, for me, it isn't that big a deal.
It'd be nice to have it fixed though.

Ah yeah I've noticed this as well. I'm slightly OCD, so of course I would notice it. It bothers me sometimes, but I get over it fast.

You may have a small cookie problem. The read info is stored in your cookies and so that's all I can think of at the moment. The problem might actually be somewhere completely different

This has happened to me as well. I will logout sometimes and when I come back and click on 'View New Posts' all the old topics that I read will still be there and it will still show me as the last poster if there has not been any other replies. The topic usually just disappears if this is the case.
Should I clear out my cookies then? *crunch*

I noticed that sometimes, I need to click on the link to the topic twice; for some odd reason, that usually marks it as read for me. But yes, most of the time half of what I read is still marked as unread...kind of annoying, but only because I might click on it again to see if it updated >.>

Yeah...if, for example, I click on one twice, it may or may not end up being marked as read. Sometimes, if I click on it a ton of times, it ends up eventually being read...but I usually just give up -.- I have bigger things to worry about, haha. Glad I'm not OCD...

I always show up, so I guessing this isn't a board problem.
