Hey guys

So basically lately I've been doodling around in my book a lot and I figured I actually want to start drawing things. I can't draw at all very well, so tips on improving would be needed. happy.gif

I'd also prefer to have a drawing style of cartoonish, but not too cartoonish (maybe something cartoonish like Apilots style. Love some advice from you smile.gif)

Thanks in advance anyway guys biggrin.gif

the most important thing I can tell you is develop your own style. any improvement that comes after will result from you developing that style.

perhaps post a pic or two and I can do a bit of redlining and give you tips on where to work on things.

If it's your first time drawing seriously don't worry about style (yet). Instead you should work on your technical skill. Try drawing from life and learning about anatomy first.

It is my first time actually drawing without being in class. So when I get bored, I'll get out some paper, draw, and show you what I come up with happy.gif

Well you see honestly I draw what I feel try busting out your favorite tunes and start drawing the tunes. What you have to focus is on loving your own style that way if you love your art people will love yours. When you draw just find niches that you feel are in your comfort zone, never hesitate to draw when you feel like it, (i pretty much doodle all day) this is the way you develop your own style, but if you want to go in my direction I would say watch cartoons and draw what you see in your mind from your own imagination. Also Never draw on an empty stomach! oh and draw a lot, practice a lot, you cant pick it up and drop it, this is not vector. This is real deal.

have fun with it, i hope my art philosophy helped you, .when it comes to drawing though, I dont think i could give you anymore tips
