New to NEOCODEX with a ?

Ok so i'm trying to create a signature and my pic wouldn't show up what type of file does it need to be?
and do i need to host it on like photobucket first?

Welcome to NC...it depends on the host, i use image shack, then you paste the code...you posted in the wrong place

You'd be best off saving your images as either JPG (JPEG) or PNG, then uploading them on http://www.tinypic.com or http://www.imageshack.us, you can also use photobucket if you wish.

After the image is uploaded on one of those sites, it will list a few codes. You need to choose the code which looks like the one below, and copy/paste it here.

So i hosted a pic on photobucket and put it in the IMG bracket's and i'm getting an error now..the pic will come up when i put it in the siggy but it's just an X in a box

Make sure you use the 'direct' img link. Just copy that and put in the IMG tags around it.
