Not me, and I hope it never happens. Though I was riding my bike down a steep hill. At the bottom of the hill I had to turn or I'd hit a parked car real hard. I make a swift turn, I can't use the back brake so I use the front one. I fly and scrape my whole stomach and blood was flying out. In the process I hit my head real hard, but luckily I had a helmet. If I didn't, I'd probably of broken my neck.

there was this one guy in my class who was one who worked out all the time and was buff as can be. well apparently he struck out and in frustration, threw the bat.
the bat came flying my way (mind you, it was from like 10 meters away, picking up speed and momentum. lol)and came straight for me. I didnt see it of course, I was playing catch!
I bent down to pick up the ball which had coincidentally been thrown low and was rolling on the ground, right as the bat came twirling right above where I had bent over.
I heard the bat thump on the ground a meter or two from me and didnt really have a second thought and went to throw the ball back to my friend. she was running towards me, as were like 8 other students. I was all wtf? what do you want? they were all OMG ARE U OK??!?1?? I was like umm yeah... why wouldnt I be? then they explained. lol
the poor guy who threw the bat had a breakdown and was seriously freaked.
then over a month ago there was my ATV accident... i still have no feeling in my right side. perhaps a doctors visit is in order.
oh, and when I was really little, I fell off the slide in my backyard and sallowed my tongue and passed out. I had a lovely ambulance ride and sleepover for a few nights in the hospital. they kept waking me up every 2 hours and asked me if I knew my name, address, etc.

*snort*
I just had the most intense visual of two people poking their heads up like and saying in little speech bubbles "wtf were r justin?"... Eh, it was funnier in my head.
I'm sure everyone whose been here more than five minutes remembers my near death experiences, so I shan't bore you with them again. Nor will I assume you want to hear them if you haven't already

Whoa....interesting stuff. I would love to know for sure whether what you saw was real and if it was, then what it meant.
Anyone ever seen the film Flatliners?

Most probably an ignorant thing to say, but I want a near death experience. Emphasis on the word near, btw, in case we have any jackasses here who decide to kill me.

Haha, wow. That's some crazy stuff that happened to you. You must be glad you are alright!
I can swim, just not for a long time. Never wanted to learn because I also was a little frightened of drowning.

eh. I won't be killed that easy. I figure that I aint gonna die untill it's my time, and I'll either go by spontaneous human combustion or just end up doing it myself.

Coincidently I have a habit of throwing the bat after I hit the ball and one time a girl wasn't standing behind the cage and it hit her eye. I felt bad =/

I know when I was a few months old I got some sort of flu or cold and had a super high fever; and when I went to the doctor they couldn't find my veins to put the IV in... and I ended up with a needle in my forehead. D: I'm afraid of needles now, so ... it could possibly be from being stabbed 20+ times. D:
But anyway, I fell from a second story once, and I landed on my feet.
Um, and my freshman year of college I got more than one flu virus at the same time(which is statistically impossible according to House, M.D.), ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and almost died. And the day after I got out of the hospital I took a chemistry exam. D:
My school had no sympathy for anyone.

Well, that's scary but also pretty awesome at the same time...
So the whole "life flashes before your eyes" is true in your case. I wouldn't like to find out anytime soon if it was true for me. Justin, didn't you learn to stay away from pools from when you was one!

I never had an real near death experience. Sometimes when I was a kid I dreamed with water and I was drowning =(. Once was at never land, and I was playing lego at the sea. One piece felt I dived to get it but my feet got tied with another big piece(an elephant head lol) and I couldn't breath o.o, neither wake up. And I have a problem that when I am underwater on dreams I simply stop to breath on real life. Yea, it was a dream D=
Once I was at a car crash, nothing much, the car raised a little bit from the land and my friend almost felt on me(we were without security belts). One of them would die or get really bad without me. Because the car front was definitely all fucked up, not on the motorist side. This friend would be on the front but I decided to go back home with him instead of the bus. And so he went on the car back with me and my other friend so we could talk... Heck, one of the wheels got into the car front O.õ

I once was forced to go and try copping for drugs (looking for people on the street in a bad part of town) because all my hookups failed out on me or had been busted. I end up driving deep into this side of town and inquire a young gentleman on the corner what he's slanging. He inquires what I would like. I attempt to make a purchase when upon further inspection, the product is in fact fake. Upon reporting back this newly discovered evidence, he procures a firearm and points it at me and demands my money. Instead of complying, I decided to instinctively stomp on the gas pedal and hope to hell I didn't get shot. Only one shot was fired, but I think it was in the air to scare us.
The second time wasn't nearly as exciting and is a bit more recent. I was picking up some MDMA tablets for a friend from another friend. I paid the man before hand as I had other business to attend. When I got the call saying the guy was there and had his 1000 pills ready to sell. (I didn't need 1000.. that's what the guy had with him, though.) So my friend who I gave the money to informed him of how many I needed. Upon placing them in my pocket I begin to leave when he pulls out his weapon, which I later find out was a glock .45. He began to yell at me saying things like "What the fuck? You think you can not pay or some shit?" My friend quickly explains the situation and all is fine... but tensions were a bit high at that point..
that's all I've got, really... except an oral surgery in which they had trouble bringing me back from the land of nitrous oxide.. :D:D
I guess that's what dealing with drugs does to you, but on the other hand, you got a big thrill ride that I will probably never experience.
LMFAO! You're making me laugh hard. LOL!

When i was 10 i went to lock the back window so my sister wouldnt fall out, then as i reached out to it a load bang sounded, i jumped out of frieght and fell out of the window(24feet) all the way down to the ground.
List of injuries i suffered from that:
Fractered skull (2 inch crack at the back of my skull, almost fatal)
Broke my eardrum ( Leaving me half deaf permently)
Scratches down the left side of my body (So many i was un-recognisable)
Fractered left leg and dislocated left shoulder
And a crazy guy pulled a knife on me, he then slipped and stabbed himself in the gut.
My life is so extreme.

I also got pulled by a riptide once when I was at a beach at 12 years old. My dad was there to pull me out though so the whole situation lasted for about 5 seconds.

Dang....that reminded me though of something that happened on one of my birthdays though. I was out on the playground(in like..second grade I think), and I got stung twice by a bee, once on each thigh. It wouldn't of been a huge problem if I wasn't allergic to bees. So i had two huge "hot spots" that got all swollen, plus go to the nurse, etc. etc. Luckily I'm not deathly allergic though.
