Well I've really gotten into cover songs lately, trying to find any and all I can, and it's quite fun. Just wondering what your favorite cover song is, who the original band is and the band that covers it. I've found two recently that I like (though quite popular =P)

it's a fantastic song, by a great band (i'm a *huge* a-ha fan... flew to norway to see them in concert once).

Its interesting to see some of these that I didn't know before. Also, its interesting to see how many songs that are considered 'that artists' song, even though its a cover.

Those three are generally not known as originally by the real artist. Well, maybe All Along the Watchtower, but I heard Boys in tha Hood by Dynamite before I heard the NWA version. And Nirvana made MWStW a huge hit, years after Bowie did it. Its just weird.



Oh, and my favourite cover is Love, Reign O'er Me originally by The Who, but covered by Pearl Jam.
