I thought this movie was better than Blair Witch. Well, actually, I think just about anything is better than the Blair Witch Project. I fell asleep all but one time everytime I watched BW. This movie did more for keeping me a bit on the edge.

My friend said that Cloverfield was really creepy and to not see it, but he's kind of a wuss... So I might end up going some time or another.

I thought it was an alright movie, I liked the idea of it being filmed how it was, although it did make me feel sick a few times. Other then that it was a pretty good movie.

The viral marketing killed the hype, at least for me.
All these fucking clues and random shit haven't 0 % to do with the damn movie...and I'm watching it bootleg over and over (I did pay for the movie btw) just to see the last part and I still see nothing flying in background. There better be a sequel to explain the monsters origin or else this movie is plain shitty.
I mean it's cool and all, but everything you don't know makes the movie look bad.
What is the monster?
Where's the rest of em?
If that's a baby, what's the size of the adult?
How come they never
I swear there were 2 monsters and I'm not talkin about the parasites.
Last but not least, what does the damn 1-18-08 site have to do with the movie...like the recipe and stuff.
This better not just be some online only w/o a sequel.
Oh, and the only thing that got me scared was all that screaming. Psychological effects ....had me shaking like a biznatch.
Ironically, I liked the whole homemade look. Camera was that shaky? I didn't notice 0_O....cept the part where

I thought Cloverfield was pretty good.
The realism of the party scene I thought was well done. I could totally place myself at that party. At one point or another in my life, I was each of the characters it portrayed. Kinda creepy how they got that 'right'.
I also don't really care what the monster was, or if they survived, or to have my questions answered, In the words of B.McNamee "it is what it is"

Yeah, I really liked the party and the overall movie. It felt realistic, and it was a roller coaster ride for me.
