Im having a bit of a time trying to beat even the second one past oh lets say 17 without a freezer cant beat the third at all.

I beat first one like 30 times, but i get totally screwed when 2nd comes. I havent bothered looking up neat bd items/levelling pet much. Actually i should train my pet sometimes

This sucks for us newbies, I haven't been around long enough to even have a shot at it. I've got some decent hp on one pet, but I'm not going to bankrupt myself not knowing what the prizes will be.

At the same time, the Editorial from the most recent neopian times stated that you could NOT progress in the plot if you didn't get the second step finished, which is clearly the most difficult.

The less people continue due to the difficulty of the 3mods, the more worth the prizes will have later.

They can't hold you back because of the battledome because they know that some users have pets that are not used for the battledome. Just do the easy ones if you can, you'll still get the points.

Lucky you my pet is no where near ready for this was like I thought they were .... Damn it! I will make sure they will be ready for the next plot (although I said that last plot) then again knowing my beautiful luck next plot won't have a war XD

Haven't actually checked out the battledome but will later today. I only got 2 scarabs on me... but I got a couple millions to spend for BD items. Do you think it would be wise to buy just for the war or keep saving up for the *god* items (Skardsen, ghostkers, etc.)

I love using my brain for the messages wit h3 modifiers. Then again when I'm on a schedule, this is time consuming.
If anyone is up to doing it:
1. Look at the first symbol of the codes that you are to select from.
2. Select one code and put it in the modifier.
3. Look at the first symbol in the result of this combination.
4. Search for the code that will give you the matching first symbol as the one in the Target (The code you are aiming to end up with)
5a. If the code does not translate the message, find the codes with the same first symbol as the current (NOT THE ONE IN THE TARGET BUT IN THE MODIFIER) and replace it. Rinse and repeat for all codes with different first symbols.
5b If the code did not translate the message, write the number of the code in a list of codes that DO NOT work
Also be sure to write down combinations that are to be tried...this is the one that is confusing ... I can't word it right yet.

*For the messages with 3 modifiers, you can use it for the ones with 2, but I found those easy to do w/o paper + pen

Anyways you're still guessing a bit, I guess =.=, and a bit lazy...but it's fun ...right?


...and I've just found out through reading this whole topic, that there is a program...
yet I must continue! Man over machine!

btw instructions are complete, I've lost what to write on what to do, so I'll do it and post when I'm done decoding.
examples soon to come, I don't know what to expect so I fear they will be needed.

go cheap really cheap scarab is nice to have but you will need a heavier hitter 8-9icons imo tyrannian lupe tooth is 8.66 and the cheapest at 60k earth fairy slingshot is a 7-9icons for 45k(this still restock with few people picking them up) stock up on sticky snowballs or snow mudballs as well as a healer. Might need a light damage blocker in addition to scarab ring as well

If you could afford to spend more, buy a Stone Club at 90k~
I don't actually need a healer, but you should take Greater Healing Scroll

I don't actually need a stealer/healer, but you should take Greater Healing Scroll
and Purple Sticky Hand / Robe of Thievery. Keep in mind that you need like 200 intelligence and 60+ agility to use it
for stealing

That's a very good question . If I'm not mistaken, the Jeran-Kass plot was around 20-25 chapters... IF I'm not mistaken.

If you meant time-based, no idea. 2 months?
