If anyone is curious as to why the forums are a sea of red names right now:


This goes to show that we can very much attract a new member base, but hopefully some of these people will decide to stick around and enjoy the rest of what we have to offer.

NOTE: When it says February 7th on the statistics meter above, it means in the last 12 hours, since it is noon here. As of a few hours ago, registration rates have suddenly accelerated so we expect to see a lot more than this today.

That's just the thing -- we can bring attention to the site, but keeping the people around is a different story. What I think we'll do is this: Maybe once the Plot has died down a bit, we can send a mass e-mail to those people about whatever new changes happened on the site and then they might come and visit again.

TNT is probably already mucking around with the codes, but so long as we keep ahead of them, we'll still have a decoder working in the end.

Alright, we've just made Neoodex history. I've confirmed that we've never had this many registrations on the same day before. We've easily beat the totals of Dec. 25th 2005, and July 4th 2006 combined. Let's hope that at least a few stick around!

What you should do is like put 5x the ads for members until they get 5 posts or something. But don't tell them they need 5 posts so they don't spam. Would boost our coffers I think

In fact, just fill their entire browser with advertising, apart from a teeeeeensy little bit that will let them post
