There'd still be lots of air in them then, though, so according to our theory, they'd still be thuper-yummy.

The fact that use used 'th' instead of 's' just made my day, and the day is still four hours young. tongue.gif

I tend to stick to the simple cheeses: cheddar, mozzarella, American, Gouda, provolone.
They're always good. smile.gif

I once at a quarter-pound block of New York-sharp cheddar in under an hour.
I didn't really feel good for the rest of the day, but it was worth it. tongue.gif

I confess. I always raid the cheese trays at social gatherings, like weddings and such. ph34r.gif

Yeah it's only going to stick together if you let your cheese sweat. tongue.gif You don't want sweaty cheese...

Damn right.
Sweaty cheddar, in particular, is grim *blech*

God damn. My Mother always told me it was impolite to take the last one tongue.gif. But the last ones are usually the best ones sad.gif.

Yes, I have no problem taking the last one. tongue.gif Usually I leave the last one of things, but not cheese. No sir.

In some places, it's considered impolite to leave anything on a plate.
So I live by that philosophy.

I think the idea is to leave the last one for others ... but if everyone is doing that, then the last one (and the best one) will go to waste sad.gif. What a shame sad.gif.

Not when I am around. ph34r.gif Invite me to your social gatherings and you will not have that problem, with cheese anyways tongue.gif

Exactly.
I suggest that you go by the idea that it would be impolite to refuse the others' generosity in leaving it for you.

Oh, but there are ways. You must do it stealthily and silently. That's the art of stealing the last cheese. Nobody must ever find out about it. tongue.gif

Does it matter? Be happy with yourself, Hydro.
Shrug off the opinions of others, like water off a duck's back.

But seriously, peeled cheese strings taste better and I would like to know why. I also wish cheese strings came pre-peeled in a big bag or something. tongue.gif

I secretly think that the reason it tastes better is because you've played with it. ohmy.gif

The messier the food, the more delicious. XD

And Ange:
That last piece of anything freaks me out too. XD It's probably why I tend to leave food untouched. >.>;; I'm afraid there's something wrong with it as it's the last bit.

I hate cheese. Well, I kinda hate cheese.

If it's on something like pizza, and you can't taste it (it isn't the dominant flavor), then it's fine. But cheeseburgers, toasted cheese sandwiches, and the like, I just can't stomach. sad.gif
