Ok I'll post every possible link that you would need for this to work:

You have codex checks already so don't need the link for that again.

Hi all.

i DLed the decoder some 8hrs ago. do i need to reDL it?

when i went to run it it says it is missing 'checkcontrol3.ocx'. when i go to click on the link in the downloads page(http://www.neocodex....o=download_file), it wont let me dl that file saying

"Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:
Incorrect use of one of the board files"

Yeah thats the link i go to.

You must enter your Neocodex username/pass into the codex checks. Make sure it isn't your neopets one

I think he is talking about on Codex, even before he downloads the codex checks. I'm trying to think of why...

Can you make sure cookies are enabled? Also, which browser are you using?

im on IE7. cookies was on med-high, changed to med now. 5 more mins before i can log in.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but...

How do the 'alien' symbols translate into normal letters? Is there a key or guide on that? I don't know how people are getting their number and such with the normal letters.

EDIT: I have found the info to get what's needed, sorry for not reading properly before posting lol

Thanks for the links. I've checked that i've downloaded and installed all the programmes (5 in total) but still get that error message: Application Error - Certificate Exchange Error - ValidateCodexDLL. What should i do?

You entered the key wrong, the l's are probably meant to be 1's

That means there was something wrong when connecting to the site. Check your firewall is letting the communication through.

After I click solve I get something like 16 - 6 - 29 ACFAFDBA

I get about 18 lines of this. Do I just toss whatever codes match in there?

Yeah just try them all. If there's 18 lines, there's only really 6 combinations of numbers since they'll be repeated 3 times in different orders.

Much less than the 24,000 combinations than you'd have to try otherwise.
